A Naples to Sorrento transfer is the first ride of many holidays: you land at Capodichino (NAP), collect your bags and simply want to reach the hotel. With a private driver booked in advance the journey is straightforward, with no changes between train and bus and no queue for a cab. We arrange transfers across Campania, by reservation.
Where we pick you up
Common starting points are Capodichino airport, Napoli Centrale station, the Stazione Marittima cruise terminal and hotels in the city centre. The meeting point is agreed beforehand; from the airport, add your flight number in the notes and let us know if it is delayed.
The road: motorway and the Sorrento road
We leave Naples on the motorway heading south and, after Castellammare di Stabia, continue on the coastal Sorrento road past Vico Equense. Parts of central Sorrento are limited-traffic zones: we stop at the closest permitted point to your accommodation, or right outside the hotel when cars can reach it.
Travel time and distance
From the airport to Sorrento is about 50 km. The drive takes roughly one hour to one hour fifteen (indicative, varies with traffic and season). On summer weekends the coastal road can slow down, so leave some margin if you have a dinner booking or a boat to catch.

Couples and families arriving for a week on the peninsula, cruise passengers spending a day in Sorrento, wedding guests staying in Sant’Agnello or Massa Lubrense, and travellers who prefer a private car service to a long cab ride.
Return trips, groups and luggage

Many choose Sorrento because Massa Lubrense, Sant’Agnello and the boats to Capri are all close by. If you need a second ride during your stay, for example to Positano or back to the port, you can request it in the same message.
